Actor headshots & sedcards
Headshots that hold up on a casting director's desk — direct, honest, and unmistakably on film. Digital copies for submissions included.
Berlin · Analog portrait studio
Every portrait is shot on film, developed by hand and printed on silver gelatin paper — one photographer, one darkroom, no shortcuts.
What I do
Headshots that hold up on a casting director's desk — direct, honest, and unmistakably on film. Digital copies for submissions included.
Editorial series and personal portraits in the Berlin studio. Slow, deliberate work with a handful of frames rather than hundreds.
Unique lifecycle prints from your session, and limited edition travel photography — each one hand-printed and signed.
The process
What was missing in digital was the craftsmanship, the slowness, the uniqueness. So every step is done by me, in my own darkroom.
A quiet studio, medium or large format film, and time. We work until the frame is there — not until the card is full.
Negatives are developed by hand. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is automated.
Silver gelatin prints, exposed and processed in the darkroom. Digital copies on request — but the heart of the work is the print.
Voices
Laura Beckner · Actress / Director, L.A. & BerlinMy photographs from our session are iconic — more beautiful, masterful and raw than any others taken in my career.
Isolda Dychauk · Actress, BerlinFound myself caught through Jakub's lens today. Leaving me with a hint of magic and a spinning head. If a soul can sing it does before his eyes.
