Every portrait is shot on film, developed by hand and printed on silver gelatin paper — one photographer, one darkroom, no shortcuts.

What I do

Three kinds of portrait, one process.

Headshots that hold up on a casting director's desk — direct, honest, and unmistakably on film. Digital copies for submissions included.

Editorial series and personal portraits in the Berlin studio. Slow, deliberate work with a handful of frames rather than hundreds.

Unique lifecycle prints from your session, and limited edition travel photography — each one hand-printed and signed.

The process

What was missing in digital was the craftsmanship, the slowness, the uniqueness. So every step is done by me, in my own darkroom.

The session

A quiet studio, medium or large format film, and time. We work until the frame is there — not until the card is full.

Development

Negatives are developed by hand. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is automated.

The print

Silver gelatin prints, exposed and processed in the darkroom. Digital copies on request — but the heart of the work is the print.
